Regenerative Solutions is run by two experienced veterinary surgeons, offering primarily peripatetic services across the UK, with access to outpatient CT for cases requiring advanced imaging.
Regenerative Solutions was founded with a clear purpose: to make advanced orthopaedic and regenerative veterinary care accessible to patients and referring practices across the UK. Based in South West England, we operate primarily as a peripatetic service, travelling to practices wherever our patients are.
Our two veterinary surgeons bring extensive combined experience in joint disease, stem cell and regenerative therapies, and advanced diagnostics. We work in close partnership with referring practices, keeping them informed and involved throughout.
Conditions such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and osteoarthritis are progressive and cannot be cured. Our philosophy is that effective management goes beyond controlling pain — we aim to slow the underlying degenerative process, improve comfort, and support the best possible quality of life over the long term. Regenerative medicine is central to achieving this.
Tim graduated as a veterinary surgeon in 2012 and has since built a broad and varied clinical career spanning both equine and small animal practice, including time working internationally.
Throughout his career, Tim has developed a particular interest in lameness, joint disease and intra-articular therapies, gaining extensive experience in the investigation and management of musculoskeletal conditions. This long-standing interest led naturally into regenerative medicine, and since 2024 Tim has worked specifically in this rapidly developing field, using regenerative therapies to support the treatment of orthopaedic disease and injury.
As co-founder of Regenerative Solutions, Tim is passionate about making regenerative medicine practical, accessible and evidence-led, helping veterinary practices integrate these emerging treatment options into everyday clinical care.
Outside veterinary medicine, Tim has been a competitive skydiver and remains a keen skier. He lives with his wife and their cat, Zen — who has a particularly special connection to the business: Zen became Regenerative Solutions' very first patient, receiving stem cell therapy himself.
Matt qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and has over 20 years' experience in small animal practice. During that time he has developed a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery and, more recently, regenerative medicine. He is working towards RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in surgery.
Alongside his role at Regenerative Solutions, Matt is a director of an independent veterinary practice in Dorset, where he continues to enjoy the variety and challenge of first opinion practice. He also works as a peripatetic surgeon, supporting practices across the South West with advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures.
Matt believes regenerative medicine has an important role to play alongside conventional veterinary treatments and is committed to offering therapies supported by the best available scientific evidence, with patient welfare always at the heart of every decision.
Away from work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. A keen cyclist and hockey player, he values the balance that family life and the outdoors bring alongside a busy clinical career.
